Saturday, July 24th, 2010

The Free- Radical theory of aging has caused a revolution in the field of cosmology. The new science of anti aging seems to be right out of one of Einstein’s theories, it states that our skin cells age because of the damage caused electrons or sub atomic particle colliding with our skin’s cell structure. Over the past few year’s science has evolved in its understanding what causes our skin to age this has been the break thought in cosmetic products that deal with aging.

At some point every one needs to ask themselves a question. Are the risks involved in an active life worth the risks in our old age? Now with the new breakthrough anti aging skin care products that question is answered for you.

In this new science, you will heir a lot of talk about antioxidants. In short an antioxidant is like a magnet that collects these free-radicals before they can damage your cell structures. In reality, they are atoms that don’t have enough electrons, so they collect electrons from atoms that are giving them off.

The sun as well as toxins in the food we eat and chemicals that we live and work around all cause a build up of these free radicals in our bodies. This is not a new phenomenon to life on this planet. As our understanding of this posses increases so does our understanding of how other life form’s around us has adapted to fight this effect. No life forms have adapted more than plants and herbs. Probably, because they have been around the longest. The following is a list of herbal and mineral ingredients that have been found to adhere to the laws of the theory of Free-radical aging and should be in any product that deals with this science.

*Argireline inhibits your skin’s muscle’s ability to contract which over a thirty day period lesson the depth of wrinkles by 27%.

*Idebenone acts as a strong antioxidant and chemically links itself to free-radicals preventing them from damaging your skin.

*DMAE is a strong antioxidant that helps stabilize your skins cellular structure.

*Edelweiss extract is also a strong antioxidant.

*Evening Primrose Oil Extract contains gamma-linolenic acid, which converts in your body into prostaglandins, these fatty acids replace the oils lost in your skin that over time cause aging.

*Hyaluronic Acid acts as a lubricate for your skin’s collagen to prevent wrinkles.

*Hydrolyzed Wheat Gluten and Ceratonia Siliqua together act as a moisturizer and antioxidant which tighten your skin and lessen the look of wrinkles.

*Lipolight Oap acts to lighten the appearance of wrinkles.

Resolved Question: INFOMERCIALS! Are any of the products what they claim to be?

Friday, December 18th, 2009

Sometimes I joke with my friends that If I got proactive to clean my face, the Wen haircare system to make my hair beeeeeautiful, reclaim anti-wrinkle cream, Windsor pilates for my thighs, the ab king pro system for my abs, P90X to totally get ripped, a Flavourwave to cook all my health food in, Sheer cover so i’d be radiant everyyyy day, and of course a Tobi steam iron to make my clothes look sexy, an H2O vac, then maybe I would be perfect- LOL , of course I don’t believe informercials but I love picking fun at them!
two questions:
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE INFOMERCIAL AND WHY?
DO YOU OWN AN INFOMERCIAL PRODUCT- DOES IT WORK?

Open Question: What age is too young to start using a mild over the counter anti-wrinkle cream?

Friday, December 18th, 2009

I am in my 30’s. I have some blemishes on my face, some mild wrinkles on my forehead, and some laugh lines. Nothing too serious. Am I too young to start using the over-the-counter anti- wrinkle creams such as Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle cream w/spf?

Someone told me that these products can actually CREATE wrinkles if you use them when you don’t need to.

Can you give me some advice?

Like eye creams, and the Olay Regenerist anti-wrinkle creams for example.

Don’t tell me you have to be super old. I want to know because this is like asking, At what age should a female preserve her youthfulness? (You know, before she’s too old to do anything about it)

Only straight answers please. I don’t want never because everyone is beeeautiful the way they are!

Resolved Question: Smooth skin products?

Friday, December 18th, 2009

Even though I’m only 15, I’ve been noticing lines on my forehead and I’m not sure if they’re wrinkles or not. They’re more than likely not visible to others but when I look at myself in the mirror, up close, I can see them. They sort of bother me so I want to try to get rid of them.

But since I’m only 15, I don’t know if it’s okay for me to use anti-aging, firming, or night creams and whether those will help or not.

Will Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque help? If not, are there any inexpensive masques that will help? I was going to try St. Ives Mineral Clay Firming Masque but I can’t find it in stores and I don’t want to order online..

Resolved Question: I need help naming my new skin care line!!!?

Friday, December 18th, 2009

I am starting my own line of skin care products that are just as good as the expensive brands, only cheaper… such as : anti-wrinkle/anti aging creams, vitamin c-serums (that actually work and are cheap!) moisturizers, face and body washes and scrubs, and eventually hair care.

I have invest soooo much time and money for the equipment and and supplies and months and months for the product testing… I really want to make this work!
I need help coming up with a catchy name that describes what it’s all about. I am at a total loss here.. You only get one chance to come up with something cool.
Here’s some info:

*** I use the exact same quality and amount of active ingredients as the expensive manufactures. Some of my products even have more (the ones that allowed me to turn it up a notch without causing skin irritation)

***I try to make them as organic as possible (some things like the vitamin c-serums need certain additives to keep them from going bad, most home made vitamin c serums you buy from ebay and etsy don’t have these additives and go bad after only 24 hours. This is one of my key advantages over the others

*** My products will be affordable for ANY budget. I’m not so much out to make a huge profit. I’m more concerned about making sure MY costs are covered (you are mainly paying what I pay for the products) This is something I enjoy doing and want people to be able to afford these products and be 100% happy with the results.

*** I’d like to have diva or divas as part of the name… but don’t know how to describe (in one word) all the other information. Like… what word describes affordable organic or natural and just as good as the most expensive products on the market

I wish I could offer free samples to those who reply. I don’t know if my question would get deleted if I include my contact information?

Thanks!
excellent suggestions! i’m amazed 3
thank you all so much!
