Resolved Question: Smooth skin products?

Friday, December 18th, 2009

Even though I’m only 15, I’ve been noticing lines on my forehead and I’m not sure if they’re wrinkles or not. They’re more than likely not visible to others but when I look at myself in the mirror, up close, I can see them. They sort of bother me so I want to try to get rid of them.

But since I’m only 15, I don’t know if it’s okay for me to use anti-aging, firming, or night creams and whether those will help or not.

Will Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque help? If not, are there any inexpensive masques that will help? I was going to try St. Ives Mineral Clay Firming Masque but I can’t find it in stores and I don’t want to order online..

Resolved Question: Is this a good skincare regimen for a 15 yr. old?

Friday, December 18th, 2009

This is what I do every morning:
1.Gently wipe off any leftover eyeliner with Philosophy cleanser.
2.Rinse off my face with Philosophy cleaner, cold water.
3. Moisturize with Clinique.

At night:
1. Rinse off face with Avon clay cleanser.
2. Remover mascara/eyeliner with Philosophy cleanser.
3. Moisturize with Philosophy Hope in a Jar.
4. Dab on Avon Anew wrinkle/line corrector around eye area.
5. Dab on Avon Intense Age Defying cream around eye area, forehead, and mouth.

I know that the anti aging creams aren’t necessary, as I don’t have any wrinkles yet, but I just want to be prepared.

If there is anything I should add please let me know.

Resolved Question: Under-eye dryness problems?

Friday, December 18th, 2009

I am a 25 year old male and for the last 10-15 years I’ve had severe dryness under my eyes (my lower eye lids) to the point where they flake really badly. I’ve tried just about every kind of super-mega moisturizer on the market and in the morning, it’s back to the way it was. I’ve use over the counter meds recommended by doctors for months and after stopping for one night, it’s already back. Nothing is working and i’m reaaaaaally wanting a solution. All doctors I’ve gone to say I just need to scrub when in the shower which is just a dumb answer. I know this isn’t normal so does anybody have any special moisturizers they trust? I also have really bad dark circles under my eyes so if I don’t use something every morning, I seriously look like the undead. If somebody could recommend some great get-rid-of-dark-circles + skin moisturizing and repairing cream safe for the eye area, I’d greatly appreciate it. All skin sections in stores and websites seem to me all based on woman’s anti-aging…

I’m a guy and in serious need of help. PLZ recommend me something that will help!

Doctor 1 recommended: Hydrocortisone cream 2.5%
Doctor 2 recommended: Erythromycin ointment
Doctor 3 recommended: scubbing harder during shower _

Resolved Question: will night cream keep me from getting wrinkles?

Friday, December 18th, 2009

I’m 23 and I have recently started using night cream. It doesn’t say its anti aging, its just a heavy moisturizing cream. I also use an anti aging eye cream morning and night because I noticed some very fine lines on the sides of my eyes. Will using this night cream and keeping my face hydrated and out of the sun keep me from getting alot of wrinkles?

Resolved Question: Is it ok to use two face creams at once?

Friday, December 18th, 2009

Like is it ok to use night serum and then anti aging cream or something.

Resolved Question: Do face ’serums’ really work?

Friday, December 18th, 2009

I use a face lotion in the morning before putting on make-up, and an overnight anti-aging cream at night. Do serums, used before any lotions in the morning, really do any good? If so, what are some good ones—-that I can buy at Wal-Mart, for example? Thank you.

Resolved Question: Can anti-aging creams make matters worse?

Friday, December 18th, 2009

Hi, I’m a 19-year-old guy and I’ve been using L’Oreal Revitalift night cream for my forehead wrinkles and wrinkles around the eyes.

So far, the cream has made my forehead wrinkles less prominent and my eye wrinkles (crow’s feet - only when I smile, though) kind of less noticeable but they’re still there. Then again, I’ve only used this for a month or so and it has helped my dark circles.

I was just wondering, could anti-aging cream make your skin worse? I know once you start with creams, you have to continue.

It’s just that I’m starting to look different because my skin is better and it’s weird to me. In a way, I feel like I older than I did before because I’ve been using some other stuff as well. I just look different when I look in the mirror and it’s not bad but it’s almost a weird uncanny experience.

Thoughts?

Resolved Question: Best anti-aging night cream for 20-somethings?

Friday, December 18th, 2009

I want a good anti-aging night cream, but nothing too hardcore! I’m only 20. I want to decrease the look of fine lines I currently have on my forehead and I want to prevent additional fine lines. I also want something to improve my complexion (clarity, texture, that kind of thing). Any recommendations?
