Voting Question: How to come out w/ my own skin care line?

Friday, December 18th, 2009

I’m about to go to an institute for aesthetics and I wanted to know of any ideas of any of you guys knowing how it would be possible to come out develop my own private labeled anti-aging skin care line? I know what I would somewhat like to have in my own products moisturizers, but how to go about doing so is the most difficult part of it of all. I would love to see my very own skin care products sold in stores.

Resolved Question: I’m looking for a good anti-aging, skin clarifying moisturizer eye cream. Any suggestions?

Friday, December 18th, 2009

I’m 32, have dry skin and I’ve found that the early signs of aging are creeping in. I’d like to erase these new fine lines under my eyes, on my forehead and around my mouth. (Basically, I want my 20’s back! LOL) I want to buy a good product, but there are so many out there that I’m not sure which one to choose. I know that this could get pricey, but my skin (and self esteem) are worth the investment! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Resolved Question: Under-eye dryness problems?

Friday, December 18th, 2009

I am a 25 year old male and for the last 10-15 years I’ve had severe dryness under my eyes (my lower eye lids) to the point where they flake really badly. I’ve tried just about every kind of super-mega moisturizer on the market and in the morning, it’s back to the way it was. I’ve use over the counter meds recommended by doctors for months and after stopping for one night, it’s already back. Nothing is working and i’m reaaaaaally wanting a solution. All doctors I’ve gone to say I just need to scrub when in the shower which is just a dumb answer. I know this isn’t normal so does anybody have any special moisturizers they trust? I also have really bad dark circles under my eyes so if I don’t use something every morning, I seriously look like the undead. If somebody could recommend some great get-rid-of-dark-circles + skin moisturizing and repairing cream safe for the eye area, I’d greatly appreciate it. All skin sections in stores and websites seem to me all based on woman’s anti-aging…

I’m a guy and in serious need of help. PLZ recommend me something that will help!

Doctor 1 recommended: Hydrocortisone cream 2.5%
Doctor 2 recommended: Erythromycin ointment
Doctor 3 recommended: scubbing harder during shower _

Open Question: What is a good skin care line that will cover anti-aging and dry, dull skin?

Friday, December 18th, 2009

am turning 30 so I am looking for a product that will work as an anti-aging as well as help me with my dry, dull skin. I recently tried the Clinique moisturizer (the yellow lotion) and I broke out horribly. It was too greasy. I also tried Arbonne RE-9 but was not impressed with the results. I thought maybe I did not try it long enough and have read Arbonne reviews on here but it is obvious that most of the people who respond to them sell Arbonne products. Kinerase I heard it good but too expensive. I started looking into Oil of Olay but there are so many products to choose from it is overwhelming. If anyone has any suggestions of products that have worked for you it would be appreciated.

Open Question: Using Bio Oil and a Moisturizer ?

Friday, December 18th, 2009

Hey!

Will the Bio Oil still be effective is I ….

Apply my daily moisturizer first….then apply a light coat of bio oil.

Or…. Should i apply the bio oil first, then my daily moisturizer

Does that even make a difference?

Will the bio oil still have the same effects? as well as my anti aging moisturizer that I’m currently using ?

Thanks !!

Resolved Question: I need help naming my new skin care line!!!?

Friday, December 18th, 2009

I am starting my own line of skin care products that are just as good as the expensive brands, only cheaper… such as : anti-wrinkle/anti aging creams, vitamin c-serums (that actually work and are cheap!) moisturizers, face and body washes and scrubs, and eventually hair care.

I have invest soooo much time and money for the equipment and and supplies and months and months for the product testing… I really want to make this work!
I need help coming up with a catchy name that describes what it’s all about. I am at a total loss here.. You only get one chance to come up with something cool.
Here’s some info:

*** I use the exact same quality and amount of active ingredients as the expensive manufactures. Some of my products even have more (the ones that allowed me to turn it up a notch without causing skin irritation)

***I try to make them as organic as possible (some things like the vitamin c-serums need certain additives to keep them from going bad, most home made vitamin c serums you buy from ebay and etsy don’t have these additives and go bad after only 24 hours. This is one of my key advantages over the others

*** My products will be affordable for ANY budget. I’m not so much out to make a huge profit. I’m more concerned about making sure MY costs are covered (you are mainly paying what I pay for the products) This is something I enjoy doing and want people to be able to afford these products and be 100% happy with the results.

*** I’d like to have diva or divas as part of the name… but don’t know how to describe (in one word) all the other information. Like… what word describes affordable organic or natural and just as good as the most expensive products on the market

I wish I could offer free samples to those who reply. I don’t know if my question would get deleted if I include my contact information?

Thanks!
excellent suggestions! i’m amazed 3
thank you all so much!

Voting Question: best facial moisturizer for dry, sensitive skin?

Friday, December 18th, 2009

okay, i have acne prone skin, and my acne is not bad but to keep it under control, i use a lot of prescription gels and creams on my face and special washcloths with benzoyl peroxide and stuff. all of these things were prescribed to me by a dermatologist, but they make my skin SO DRY. right now i use the cetaphil daily moisturizer with spf but my skin is so dry that it burns when i put it on.

its dry to the point where my face makeup looks like crap because my skin is flaky.

does anyone have a really good face moisturizer that is oil free and is really moisturizing and will not irritate or burn my skin? thanks so much if you answer.

by the way, im 16 so nothing with like anti-aging ingredients in it.

Resolved Question: I need a great anti aging vegan moisturizer for my eyes?

Friday, December 18th, 2009

Does anybody know if there is a proven brand? I know there are a lot of moisturizers that are vegan but I would like something that gives results, maybe something with alpha hydroxy? My eyes have dark bags and circles on bad days, but are just lined on good days, but I’m only 25. I want to try to do something for my eyes.
